4.

Alexander McQueen
I absolutely love Alexander McQueen's latest collections. After the designer’s tragic death in 2010, his right-hand woman, Sarah Burton, who had been with the company since 1996, took over as creative director. She continues McQueen’s legacy, producing gorgeously constructed pieces that combine elements of British tailoring with French couture, and is known for her frequent collaborations with Prince Charles’s daughter-in-law, Kate Middleton—most famously, on Middleton’s wedding dress.
Here are some of my favourites...

The only down side to this designer is that his items are highly expensive things, that I would never be able to afford :(

What's in my Make-up Bag?

So my cousin Pip did  blog on what's in her make-bag so I thought I'd do a reply to her post (her blog is http://pipspashionforfashion.blogspot.co.uk/). So I'll just list all the contense of my make-up bag:
  • Collection 2000 BB secrets Beauty Balm in light
  • Rimmel London Wake me up foundation in 100 ivory
  • Maybelline New York Cover Stick in fair
  • Rimmel London Hide the Blemish Concealer in 100 ivory
  • Maybelline New York Fit Me! powder in 120
  • Jack Wills Long Lash Mascara
  • Dirty Works Beauty Go Balmy Lip Balm
  • Topshop Lipstick in charmed
  • Primark Liquid Eyeliner
  • Barry M Lip Gloss
  • Jemma Kidd glamour define pencil eyeliner in 01 black
My preference is medium coverage not too heavy also not too light. But lately I haven't been wearing foundation at all purely because mine is starting to run out and I'm too lazy to go out and get a new one! I have a Kurt Geiger make-up bag that I absolutely love; its the perfect size to fit all my rubbish in but it isn't too big!

Options...

So its coming up to the 31st January and that's when my option evening is! I need to have a form saying what GCSE's I am taking in on the 14th February and I cant decide...

So I'm definitely doing Art/Textiles which is basically fashion, because I'd love a job involving fashion when I'm older. Also I'm going to take Spanish; so I have two options left, and obviously I have to do a humanity and I'm finding it very hard to choose between geography and history. So I thought why not take both? But  then I started thinking will it be too hard or should I just take something worthless to me that I can get a good grade easily in like catering?

I need some help..
p.s.I normally do fashion/beauty post's but I really need some help

Nichola Roberts Hair<3

I absolutely love Nicola Roberts hair when she blow dry’s it big. My hair isn't as short as hers but I think her look would be easy for anyone to achieve! Nicola has short, curly hair in a down style with a fringe, or bangs. Her hair colour is red with reddish blonde highlights.

How to do it:
Big, bold curls will always be a DO in our book. Use the largest round brush you can get your hands on use a hair dryer curl your hair round the brush and then ensure yours look as bouncy and beautiful as Nicola Roberts'.

Geometric Patterns

At the start of this year I promised to myself that I wouldn't spend any money until I go on my holiday to Hong Kong! But the other day I was looking online and I really liked geometric patterns; and I kept thinking that a geometric pattern top would look really nice tucked into some shorts.

I thought I could just buy a cheep cropped white top that's oversized and some fabric paint. I could get some card and cut out shapes and use it as a stencil. If I do this I will post a tutorial on the steps to creating this great look.

Top Knots!

I really love having my hair down in summer but as it is quite long it makes me too hot and gets in my face. But I have found the perfect look to keep you cool and looking good. It is a top knot, all it is is a little pony tail on the top of your head! And sorry I've not wrote much I will write more in the future.

Make-up!

Sorry i've not posted in a while i've been very busy with school stuff.
But anyway, one thing I love is trying out new make-up and seeing new trends in make-up. At the moment I'm really into coral/orange lipstick with a light skin tone, it really draws attention to your lips and makes them look bigger. It also looks good in summer to go with bright clothes!
As it is getting closer to summer I think summer is a time to look more natural that means cutting down on the eyeliner and mascara, and going for a brighter lip stick.

Walkies!

Me and my friend Regan (check out her blog http://itsreganbitch.blogspot.co.uk/ ) went on a walk today we took my dog Lillian Jean Thompson. Even thought it was pouring down we stuck to our New Years resolution to do more exercise. We were dressed for the weather, well I was but Regan forgot her coat...We then got Lily dressed up! We put her Barbour coat on and her lead.
We both wore plain black high waisted leggings(Topshop £18), a plain white vest top(H&M £3.99), and a hoodie(Topshop £22). And I also wore a charcoal gilet(Jack Wills £98).

SALES!

Christmas has finished :( but the sales are here to cheer us all up! The other day I went to the sales with my beutiful cousin pip, who also has a fashion blog called Passion for Fashion, we ventured out into huddersfeild with our purses ready for the sales. In the end we only actually went into two shops which were Topshop and Primark.
The Topshop sales are amazing, the shop was packed with rales of reduced clothes from under £10 to under £40. We both left Topshop with something! I bougt some light blue denim shorts-an essential for a nice hot summer hopefully!Which were £15. Pip bought some purple wet look leggings which were £10 and some doll nails wraps which were really cute.

We then went to Primark where there isn't really a sale but everything is cheap all the time! I knew I needed a new purse as mine had broke; so we went straight to the accesories. I found two that i couldn't chose out of so pip had to help me. in the end we came to a decision of one that was cream and light blue(stickng with the summer theame) which was £5, and I thought that was quite good for a purse. I also thought I would try out Primarks own liguid eye liner which is suprisingly good (£2).

Overall, the sales this year are really good and if you were trying to save money I advice you not to go!

Its New Years Eve!

Well this is my first blog post and its New Years Eve! Outfits for new years eve are very important. Festive events are important; there will be lots of pictures and we all need to look great!
Througout the day I went for a more casual look, I wore plain black high waisted leggings(Topshop £18), a coral jersey top with a white triangle design included on the front(Topshop £22), a khaki green hoodie(Topshop £22), also i wore a black leather jacket which has a fox fur collar(Miss Selfridge £40); and to conclude my look I wore brown leather ankle boots(Topshop £40). I paired my boots with the traditional frilly ankle socks in burgundy from Topshop (£3.50).

I went to my cousins house for NYE so I could celebrate surviving 2012 with them! Whilst I was there I wore a black netting skater dress which was pleated at the bottom(topshop £38), with the dress I wore the usual black tights, the leather jacket in the picture above and a skinny gold metal belt(River Island Sale-£5).
As this is my first post I may sound like I buy nearly everything from Topshop but trust me I dont because although the clothes are realy nice they are more than often over priced.
