Revlon Colour Stay Review
Revlon's colour stay for combination/oily skin on the bottle it says it lasts for 24 hours but I'm pretty sure it doesn't; yet it will last all day and still look good by the end. This stays on all day, and maintains a natural finish - not oily or dry or too matte. When I'm wearing this, it just looks like I have nicer skin. The formula is thick in consistency (a good point since it has no pump). They’re right when they say; apply it to one area at a time because if you dot it on to your face like a cream and then begin blending, you’d make a BIG mistake! It wouldn’t blend well because it dries FAST and would stick to the area where you apply it, for that you need to apply it to small areas of your face and be very quick with blending.
I LOVE the coverage I get with this foundation! It gives a medium to full coverage with a semi-matte finish (neither dewy nor completely matte or cakey). The coverage is SO good that it hides my redness, flaws and blemishes perfectly. It evens out my skin beautifully. When I apply it, it doesn’t feel heavy on my skin but I won’t consider it entirely lightweight. I don’t know what would be the right term to explain that but it feels a little tacky before it completely dries. I am not saying that it feels heavy on my skin, it’s just that initially I feel I’ve something on my face.
The lasting power is AHMAZING! I’ve never seen any foundation with such a great lasting ability. No sweat or water would budge it. And the best part about this foundation is that it NEVER gets cakey. When I layer it, I feel like I’ve a thin film of plastic over my face but it doesn’t show up as a thick ugly layer.
My final verdict about this product is that it’s a great foundation for combination to oily skin types and for those who are living in hot and humid climatic conditions.

Clothes and Makeup Haul
Afew weeks ago it was bank Holiday Monday, and the village I live in hosts a community May Day; which can be quite naff because it is more suited to the younger years. So me and my friends decided we weren't to bothered about attending it this year. Also we hadn't been shopping in quite a while and we decided we would go shopping.
But we didn't want to go into our closest shopping centre because the shops are a bit rubbish and seem to have last seasons collections in them which isn't great. Moreover someone suggested that we should take a trip to the Trafford centre.
I knew I needed a new foundation in short I ended up buying Revlon's Colour Stay for oily/combination skin. But I'm going to stop there because I will be doing a review on it very soon. P
I also went into Topshop (the usual) and as soon as I walked in I spotted a grey top with a pair of bright blue eyes, then I realised it was a big grey cat printed onto the top. whilst I was in Topshop I also tried on a pair of Jamie Jeans because I really like the way they fit.
As I was near the till I thought I would have a look at the nail varnish; because all mine are dark and not very summery. So I looked at the brighter colours and ended up picking up a light orange called peaches and creams. In the end I left with all three of these items.
So in the end it was a very successful shopping trip for me as I purchased four items in the end.

30 Day Snap #4 | Vanilla Slice
I wouldn't normally do writing for the 30 day snap as I believe a picture speak a thousand words. But at first glance id say this just looks like a pile of poo! I'm sorry to say it isn't, its my first attempt at making a vanilla slice. I am making these in cooking next week and will be receiving my final mark on them so they need to be good. So I thought I'd practice and honestly they look way much easier than they actually are! Wish me look in cooking next week...

The 30 Day Snap
I am an avid reader of the lovely ‘Sprinkle of Glitter‘ blog, and was thrilled to see that Louise is starting a ’30 Day Snap’! I think this is a great idea and I really look forward to taking part. Hopefully I can successfully upload a photo everyday, and hopefully you’ll enjoy it too!
This image is from Sprinkle of Glitter’s blog and it sums it all up really! It’s a short post, but this is very much an introduction of what’s to come, as you’re going to see a lot of it on the blog!
Hope you enjoy the content, and feel inspired to join in too! If you want to check out the rules, (very simple ones) then click here!
Thanks for reading!
