Revlon Colour Stay Review

Revlon's colour stay for combination/oily skin on the bottle it says it lasts for 24 hours but I'm pretty sure it doesn't; yet it will last all day and still look good by the end. This stays on all day, and maintains a natural finish - not oily or dry or too matte. When I'm wearing this, it just looks like I have nicer skin. The formula is thick in consistency (a good point since it has no pump). They’re right when they say; apply it to one area at a time because if you dot it on to your face like a cream and then begin blending, you’d make a BIG mistake! It wouldn’t blend well because it dries FAST and would stick to the area where you apply it, for that you need to apply it to small areas of your face and be very quick with blending.

I LOVE the coverage I get with this foundation! It gives a medium to full coverage with a semi-matte finish (neither dewy nor completely matte or cakey). The coverage is SO good that it hides my redness, flaws and blemishes perfectly. It evens out my skin beautifully. When I apply it, it doesn’t feel heavy on my skin but I won’t consider it entirely lightweight. I don’t know what would be the right term to explain that but it feels a little tacky before it completely dries. I am not saying that it feels heavy on my skin, it’s just that initially I feel I’ve something on my face.

The lasting power is AHMAZING! I’ve never seen any foundation with such a great lasting ability. No sweat or water would budge it. And the best part about this foundation is that it NEVER gets cakey. When I layer it, I feel like I’ve a thin film of plastic over my face but it doesn’t show up as a thick ugly layer.

My final verdict about this product is that it’s a great foundation for combination to oily skin types and for those who are living in hot and humid climatic conditions.
